There are lots of features we could highlight in the 2025 Ford Expedition, but we had to narrow this down to a select few. This SUV is roomy, practical, and strong, and it comes in two sizes for people with different needs.
1. The Fantastic Size
The standard-sized Expedition allows you to fit your cargo into 22.9, 69.9, or 108.5 cubic feet of space. That’s the amount of room behind the third, second, and first rows, respectively. Both the second and third rows can be folded down completely in every trim.
The cargo space can vary even more depending on how much cargo and how many passengers you’re traveling with. Every seat in the third and second rows can be folded flat independently of the others in some trims, or you can fold down any combination of them together. There’s a little more room in the MAX. Behind the third, second, and first rows, in that order, there are 37.4, 84.5, and 123.1 cubic feet of space.
2. The Excellent Strength
The maximum towing capacity of the Expedition varies slightly based on the model you choose. Standard Expedition models can tow up to 6,000 pounds in 4×2 versions and 9,600 pounds in 4×4 models. The Expedition MAX tows up to 6,300 pounds in 4×2 trims and 9,000 pounds if you’re driving a 4×4 model.
3. The Great Infotainment Tech
Every Expedition and MAX model has a center touchscreen measuring 13.2 inches in size. This infotainment display is equipped with a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot to let you stay online even when you’re far from home. SiriusXM with 360L is standard, so everyone driving this car can explore ad-free curated music, news, sports, podcasts, and other forms of talking-based entertainment.
If you’d rather listen to your own carefully made playlists, then you can do so by connecting your smartphone to the system and asking it to play songs from the music streaming apps you’ve got on your phone. You can also do so much more when your phone is connected to the system, including accessing your calendar, checking your voicemail, listening to your text messages, and answering calls.
4. The Comfort
The Expedition doesn’t cut corners regarding comfort. All trims have a 10-way power-adjustable seat for the driver, giving you an incredible amount of control over your seat’s position for maximum comfort. The front seat passenger gets a similar amount of control, as the seat is an 8-way power-adjustable one. The front seats have power lumbar and recline, too. All three rows are spacious enough for all ages to sit in without ending up uncomfortable.
