As a limited-production supercar, the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD gives drivers plenty of reasons to fall in love. These include its tremendous power, engaging dual-clutch transmission, outstanding maneuverability, and Unreal Engine-powered dual display.
It Features a Supercharged Engine

Under the Mustang GTD’s hood lies the most powerful engine in Mustang history: the supercharged 5.2L Predator V8. This engineering marvel was developed by Ford Performance and generates a fiery 815 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. Numerous race-bred components, including a dry-sump oil system, ensure the engine maintains an optimal output across various speeds and operating conditions. The Predator V8’s immense power and motorsport-grade technologies allow the supercar to reach a vision-blurring top speed of 202 mph.
It Comes with a Dual-Clutch Transmission
No ordinary transmission can manage the Predator V8’s tremendous output, so the Mustang GTD comes equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission developed by TREMEC. The transmission connects odd and even gears to two separate clutches, so the next gear is always ready for upshifting or downshifting. This facilitates lightning-fast gear changes that don’t disrupt power delivery.
It Is Extremely Maneuverable
The supercar clears corners and bends with ease thanks to its lightweight body, perfect weight distribution, and advanced suspension. Carbon fiber and titanium are used in much of the Mustang GTD’s body and cockpit for an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. The low curb weight generates less inertia, enabling the Mustang GTD to corner aggressively without bleeding speed. Additionally, a nearly 50-50 weight distribution improves the vehicle’s overall stability, and it is achieved by positioning the eight-speed transaxle in the rear.
A semi-active suspension with improved kinematics further enhances the Mustang GTD’s cornering capabilities. Integrated Multimatic DSSV technology, which is rarely found in production cars, allows the setup to provide precise adaptive damping across all surface conditions. The suspension system is also the first in the Mustang GTD’s segment to offer a dual ride height feature that lets the driver lower the chassis on demand.
It Features an Immersive Dual Display
The 12.4-inch driver information center and 13.2-inch infotainment screen are merged into a single stunning screen that stretches across the Mustang GTD’s dashboard. The dual display is powered by Epic Games’ advanced video game engine, Unreal Engine, which enables it to generate 3D models in real time. This makes your driving experience more immersive with lifelike graphics and interactive animations. The SYNC 4 infotainment system also offers wireless smartphone connectivity, built-in navigation, natural voice recognition, and several other functions.
