2025 Ford Bronco Sport

The new Bronco Sport comes in five trims: the Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, Outer Banks, and Badlands. The Big Bend starts strong with 17-inch carbonized Gray-painted high-gloss aluminum wheels, while the Heritage model pays tribute to Ford's legacy with its Oxford White roof and matching wheels. The Free Wheeling brings bold aesthetics with 17-inch Ebony wheels featuring Race Red-painted pockets and a Silver-painted grille with two-color Bronco lettering. The Outer Banks reveals 18-inch machined-face aluminum Ebony Black-painted wheels and a painted Shadow Black roof, while the Badlands stands ready for off-road challenges with 17-inch Matte Black-painted aluminum wheels and metal bash plates. For maximum capability, the available Sasquatch package adds a steel front bumper with bull bar and recovery hooks. With a ground clearance of up to 8.8 inches and a departure angle of 30.4 degrees, the Bronco Sport proves its off-road credentials.

The Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks models use an efficient 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine that generates up to 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, delivering smooth acceleration for daily driving while maintaining respectable capability for light off-road adventures. The Badlands steps up the performance with a more potent 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, producing up to 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque for more demanding situations. All models pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission for seamless power delivery.

All models include four-wheel-drive capability, while the Badlands receives an advanced four-wheel-drive system with twin-clutch rear-drive unit for superior off-road performance. Goes Over Any Type of Terrain, or G.O.A.T., Modes on all trims include Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, and Off-Road. The Badlands trim adds Rock Crawl and Rally for more extreme terrain. Ford Trail Control simplifies technical off-road sections by allowing precise control with just the accelerator pedal. The Bronco Sport demonstrates its practical side with up to 2,200 pounds of towing capacity on most trims, while the Badlands increases this to 2,700 pounds. Water fording capabilities of up to 24 inches deep further highlight its off-road prowess.

The centerpiece of the interior is a new 13.2-inch touchscreen running SYNC 4, complemented by a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Seating materials range from easy-to-clean cloth in the Big Bend to plaid cloth in the Heritage and leather-trimmed upholstery in the Outer Banks. The Free Wheeling adds character with sunset weave cloth seating featuring colorful ombre stitching. Cargo space remains generous with 32.5 cubic feet behind the second row, expanding to 65.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. Practical organization features include a flip-up rear cargo shelf and under-seat compartments for secure storage.
