Overview

The Bronco offers impressive performance with a turbocharged 2.3-liter I4 as the standard engine. However, if you’re looking to upgrade for even more power, try the upgrading to the 2.7 liter twin-turbo V6, which boasts up to 330 horsepower and an impressive 415 lb-ft of torque. For the transmission, buyers can choose between the standard six-speed automatic, plus a super-low gear for serious of roaders, or a ten-speed automatic transmission.

New Features

The newest iteration of the Bronco no includes features such as removable doors, roof, and windows, and comes in a total of seven different trims, including a limited First Edition based on the off-road capable Badlands trim. Each trim also now has a unique grill as an individual distinguishing design detail.

Off-Road Capabilities

Ford has really pulled out all the stops to make the Bronco a serious off-road contender, with several models geared especially towards off-road driving, and many new features to remove the guesswork from your off-road driving. On the Badlands and Wildtrack models, all-terrain tires have been added, as have front and rear locking differentials and two types of transfer cases.

Also included are a wide variety of driving modes geared towards specific conditions, from sand to mud, as well as a “rock crawl” setting that automatically adjusts various driving settings based on sensor input to make sure you get the best out of your vehicle.

Pricing

A basic 2-door Bronco is priced at $28,500, with a variety of other trims slowly increasing in price as far as the $56,915 limited-production first edition, which features a mixture of off-road and cosmetic upgrades that can also be found on the other models.

Safety

Ford includes their Co-Pilot360 suite of safety features on all trims above the Big Bend, just a single level up from the base model. The suite includes a variety of features to help keep you safe, including forward collision warning, pedestrian detection systems, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-traffic alerts.

Cargo Space and Towing Capacity

The Bronco has an impressive amount of cargo space, with 23.6 cubic feet for the two-door variant, climbing to a stunning 58.4 cubic feet for a four-door, with all the seats folded up. In terms of towing capacity, the Bronco can manage up to 3,500lb when properly equipped, making a good choice for cargo hauling.
